What is a Sub-Share Network?
The Sub-Share Network is a network formed by a group of childcare providers, all in the same local area, to share reliable, quality and cost effective substitutes. In addition, providers in the network can also hire permanent staff from their respective Network Sub Pool.
How is a Sub-Share Network Formed?
A Sub-Share Network starts with a Lead Provider. A Lead Provider is a childcare provider who starts a Sub-Share Network in their local area. The Lead Provider invites other Providers to join their local network.
What are the provider roles in the Sub-Share Network?
There are two roles in the network as follows:
The Lead Provider Role:
The Network Member Provider Role:
All providers in the network (Lead or Network Providers) can refer potential sub applicants to Staff88 to be qualified as a Network Sub. Once a sub is approved and activated, their profiles and availability are posted to be viewed and requested to sub for providers in their respective network.
The Lead Provider Role:
- Takes the initiative to form a Sub-Share Network for their local area
- Consults with other providers in their local area to come up with the substitute positions that are needed in the network
- Consults with other network providers to set the hourly rates for subs in the network that match their local market conditions
- Invites other providers in the area to join their Sub-Share Network
The Network Member Provider Role:
- Accepts the Lead Provider's invitation to join the Sub-Share Network in their local area
- Refers interested providers to their Lead Provider

Who is responsible for payroll and workers’ comp of the network sub?
When subs are approved into the network pool, they agree to work as part-time employees when they are requested to work for the respective providers in the network. Each provider will pay the sub separately under their payroll for the hours worked. By the same token, each provider will be responsible for the sub’s workers comp for the time the sub works at their respective facility.
What is the cost of being a part of the Sub-Share Network?
